Fabric Flowers...

I simply adore the new fabric flowers that are popping up everywhere. I don't however adore the price tag that is on the packaging of them... Being in school and having a family takes away some of the frivilous-ness, but I wouldn't have it any other way! I decided to take a shot at making my own, and I am pretty tickled with it!

The challenge over at Die Cuts R Us this week is to use the colors of the DCRU logo to make a project...what can I say - I love those colors! Great job Claudia on chosing them :o)

2 Sketches 4 You Time

Wow! How long has it been since I have done a 2Sketches4You sketch? Too long - that's what I thought, too! The Lord blessed me with the time to make this today while my sweet little Abby was watching Veggie Tales! We are truly so blessed that God sent her to us!

I loved making this card, of course again, it is clear! I used Around and About Sentiments by PTI, Heavenly Medley by PTI, Garden Green ink by SU, Pure Poppy Ink by PTI, a random button and some jute!! Hope you like it!!

Scrapbookings

The first person to admit that I will never be caught up on scrapbooking is me. I guess that's one reason I love it so much. I don't have to be rushed and truly get to enjoy the moments. If I am in the mood to scrap pictures from when Abby was a baby (which I started working on a layout of the other day) or now, I am free to do either one. Not that there is ANYTHING wrong with being up to date...I just will probably never be :) Here are some new pages! I am not very good at photographing scrapbook pages... Any pointers?

I wouldn't even know where to begin on trying to tell the materials used in these pages. I was just in a mood to grab randomly from the scrapbook nook! So that's what I did ;)

I admit it, I use my Swiss dots cuttlebug folder too much! But, I love the little thing. However, realizing that I do over use it, I tried to hunt through and find one of my folders that has been seeing less love due to my obsession with the Swiss dots ;)

I am in love with the Love Songs set and the kraft cardstock by PTI! My base is just some brown cardstock, green ink by Close to My Heart, and some pink thread to stitch it all up! The pink paper with dots is some Creative Imaginations birthday cardstock with a fiskars punch ran up the side of it!
