Prayer Box

A challenge over at CPC was to make a Prayer Journal. Since the journal idea was not working out too good for what I wanted, I decided to do a Prayer box instead, using one of the Timeless Templates by Lauren Meader... I also made little dividers to separate everything - I divided it into Scripture, Petition, Praise, and Goals!

I highly recommend this for anyone to do. It is really helping my with my prayer life more than I thought it would! Don't forget to check out all the fun things happening over at the CPC website!!

MTTC01 & Tomorrow...

Whew! It has been a CrAzY couple of days... My Uncle John is in the ICU - if you pray, please say a little prayer for him - he was diagnosed with glioblastoma (brain cancer) in 2005, which does not have a good prognosis. He has been a fighter and still refuses to give up :) BTW, he tells everyone that I'm his favorite :) (yes, it does swell my head every time I hear it) We took Abby to DollyWood and the lake yesterday. It was a nice little get-a-way, but there is no place like home! Here are some of my favorite pics from earlier today - just had to share:



I wanted to submit my Timeless challenge in time for the blog hop, but guess what? I took a nap and missed it LOL!
I made this as a just because for my mommy. She is always doing things for me and is my "go-to" person on everything! If you ever read this mommy, "I too"!
Here was my color inspiration - with all that has went on in the past couple of days, I needed a tropical moment to slow down and unwind...

Here is what I came up with:

Bath & Body Works was having a sell on their Wall Flowers and

Wall Flower refills this weekend, so I decided to get her some refills!

I hope you enjoy! I had hoped to do the color challenge also, but did not have ANY cardstock that resembled grey and one of the other colors (note to self - will add to PTI order on 5-15)

MyTime's (Lauren's) DT Call Sketches & Submissions

While I had hoped for a pretty day where I could take the photos of my cards outside - alas I did not get my wish. Well, let me change that a little - it was a pretty day, but I was inside seeing patients all day!
I am so excited to be taking part in MyTime's DT call! The following cards are my attempts! *cross your fingers* I believe she is going to chose at the end of the week :) I was worried I would not get to enter due to internet problems earlier in the week, so glad we had the whole week!!

(Other than the first card, which is supplies from PaperPlayGround kit of the month - April, all items are PaperTreyInk.)

If you happened to notice the color combo in the last two cards is the same - please note it is not from a lack of supplies! There is definitely plenty of product that comes through the doors of this house every month, however I like to use what I have. I am getting into the habit of using a whole sheet of paper instead of just part of it for one project, then being left with scrap that I never use. Using leftovers has been a great way for me to make an "extra" card to have on hand! A lot of times, you can duplicate one card easily with the materials you already have :) It's a great time and money saver!
