Happy Hillbilly Days! If you are not from Eastern Kentucky, or do not know about the Shriner's organization, you are probably going "hu?"! Hillbilly Days is part of our tradition and culture here in the mountains. Every year we celebrate with a 3 day event that raises money for the Shriner's Children's hospital. It is so fun, with food, music, crafts, and games/rides for the kids!
Today's card was made for my boss. Happy Birthday Mavis! I used mainly PTI goodies with a little hemp, fabric, pearls, and a misc flower thrown in for fun! Hope you enjoy!
God Bless You,
Hey Mary Mary...believe it or not..I have never been to Hillbilly Days!!! I have enjoyed food brought back by co-workers but I definitely don't enjoy crowds. Have fun with your little one this weekend. The card is beautiful. I'm sure Mavis will love it.
ReplyDeleteMary, I love your card. Fabric is one of my favorite things to use on cards. I missed Hillbilly Days this year, maybe I'll make it next year.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Mary, very elegant! Hillbilly Days sounds like so much fun, hope you had a great time!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Mary. I love the flower with the hemp and I love how you added the pearls under the ribbon. Super cute!
