My Abby is doing great...thanks be to the Lord!

I on the other hand have been having one problem after another. Now, the issue is chest pain. Talk about scaring you half to death. I have been to the Dr 2 days already this week and I am going tomorrow for a second opinion. It is just hard to believe that there is nothing wrong. I am hurting too much for there to be "nothing".

  1. I had chest pains off and on and then rather frequently the fall before I married my hubby (2000). It was hard to breathe and hurt so bad I cried. It turned out to be gall stones. I had my gall bladder out and then I was fine. Might that be a possibility?

  2. Yup...after my first child, like within 4 days after I had her, I too had gallstones, and I just thought it was gas under my ribs or something. It was worse when I nursed. My sister told me she had gallstones and that's exactly what the pain felt like. I was fine after I had my gallbladder removed. If it continues, I would tell your doctor you need an ultrasound to check your gallbladder for stones. It's REALLY common after pregnancy! So sorry, and I'll pray they figure out what it is very SOON! Hugs to you.

  4. Yes - like the others have mentioned - ask your doctor to check your gall bladder. And for blood work for your liver (gall stones can affect the liver if they get caught some where). The gall bladder is most likely the suspect especially after having child birth. And it is increasing common among younger new mommies.
