Back with Flowers :o)

Wow!  It feels like forever since I have been here!  We have been without internet for way too long waiting for the company to troubleshoot one problem after another, only to find out it is what *I* originally suggested the problem may be! LOL  The hardest part now, is waiting for someone to come fix it :o)

Today I have a little card for you using this lovely little flower (Weeds & Wildflowers) from Deedee's Digis!  Don't you just love it!  To make it go along with the Bible Verse Challenge over at Christian Paper Crafts today for Summer Time, I used these colors which are also from the Color ThrowDown Challenge this week.  I think this set will look wonderful with harvest colors, or even shades of red for Christmas!  I also decided to try the recipe challenge over at Fab n Funky and use three papers, two embellishments, and one image.  Oh and the sketch, that lovely little number is from the Diva Coffee Break gang!

Back to School

Today's challenge over at Christian Paper Crafts is to make something as a back to school project.  I decided to use back to school products but make a card with a "Christian" feel!  Here is what I came up with, by altering the sketch over at Card Patterns:

Happy Fall

With all of the hot weather we have been having lately, I loved seeing the temperature actually drop down to the uppper 70's and mid 80's during these past few days!  It really has me in the mood for Fall to wake up to a good cripsy morning!

This cute little guy is from Deedee's Digis, and the sketch is from Sweet Stop Sketches!  Don't forget that today is Bible Verse Thursday over at Christian Paper Crafts, where today's theme is time.  The sentiment for the inside of my card is none other than a verse from Ecclesiates 3:1.

*Back to School*

Around here, school has either already started back, or is starting back this week.  For me, grad school has started, and the whole concept of being away from my family, especially Abby, for a week is somewhat overwhelming!  So, this one is for all the little kiddos out there starting back to school, or all of you with kiddos going that way!  Nothing like a wonderfl sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches and a Digi Stamp from Deedee's Digis!

Seeing Green!

Over at Christian Paper Crafts, today is color Monday, and what an awesome Color Combo Jen has come up with now!  I had so much fun with this one!  It's about as close to a monochromatic look as I have ever come!  The lovely layout is from Deedee's Digi's Craft Blog, and while you are checking out this week's challenge over there, head over to the store and pick up this super cute teddy since it is also from Deedee's Digis!  He is one of my all time favorite digi stamps!  He's being a little "faith" bear this week for the Stampin Sister's In Christ Challenge!

Sunday Dose of MOJO

Well, grad school officially starts tomorrow, so I guess you could say I really need that MOJO right about now!  Especially since I haven't finished packing my bag to take {have to stay on campus the first week :o(  }
I took most of this week off from the crafting and blog world because it has just been so busy at work...  There were a couple of challenges that caught my eye that I couldn't resist passing up though!
They are: the lovely sketch from MOJO Monday, the fabulous colors of pink and black from Fussy and Fancy, and the Christian Paper Crafts Fun on Friday challenge to use a favorite Bible verse.
Here is what I came up with to incorporate that three challenges into one:

The verse is 1 Peter 1:7 - "These have come so that your faith - of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire - may be proved genuine and may result in praise glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed:"  I can't seem to pick out only ONE favorite Bible verse, so this is one of my many favorites :o)
