Scripture Saturday - on a Thurdsay - WHAT!

I know this is late. I really do apologize. Last Saturday we were so busy and it seems my post just didn't, well it didn't post! I didn't realize that none of them had posted until yesterday morning before work and didn't have time to go back and fix everything then.
This page is of my sweet little Abby on one of out many lake trips this Summer. I love how she is looking out at the water in this one! She loves it and we love her. The page was created for Scripture Saturday at Christian Paper Crafts. To find out how you can play along, click here.
Hopefully, I'll get everything straightened out between homework and housework and my posts will be back to regular again!

Season of Gratitude

Can you say Finally Friday? If you were thinking all week that Friday was taking a long time to get here - I agree! I'm getting ready to start ANOTHER nursing class where I will be doing a community health practicum with our local health department. I decided to make a thank you card in advance for the Director of Nursing at the health department. She will be my "go to girl" for all questions, etc... I am sure she will deserve more thanks than I could possibly ever give her! Since I am so thankful that it is Friday, I thought what better time to make my thank you card than now!

Pretty as a Pumpkin

I just love fall. It really is my facorite season and I am sure I have mentioned that on here many times before. Something about the crisp smell of the air makes me want to have pumpkins sitting around and piles of leafs to jump in! Fall pictures of Abby turned out so gorgeous last year that I can't wait to do it again!
This little card follows a Sweet and Sassy sketch SSS18, but other than that, it was made from stuff lying around the scrapbook nook! Have a wonderful day everyone & don't forget about the membership drive challenge going on over at Christian Paper Crafts!

Sketchin it for Stampin Sisters

What a mouthful of a title! Since there is no challenge over at CPC on Wednesdays, I decided to use my time to play with Tuesday's sketch again and add it in with Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge for this week, which was to make a card for your significant other and actually give it to them! I will give my honey his card this weekend. We are having a breakfast at church Saturday where the men are doing the cooking as a fundraiser. I will be giving him the card as a thank you :o)

More in Love...

I'll tell you, the more I look at these wedding pictures, the more I love my husband! I love to look at these pictures and walk down memory lane. It's funny that as I look through them I remember memories of the day that I had forgotten until the photo triggered them. I need to look at them more often to make sure I don't forget. And the wedding video... I don't think that we've watched that but one time... Note to self: Need to make a date night with hubby to watch wedding video...
Since I have a desire to make my wedding scrapbook, I decided to use the Tuesday Sketch over at Christian Paper Crafts as my starting point!

A little Basic Grey, My Mind's Eye, Bazzil flower, prima bling, lace, edge distresser, CTMH cocoa ink, PTI Heart Prints, and a metal C to complete the layout!
One thing I like about scrapbooking is that although red was no where in our wedding colors, it was fun to add a little dose of red onto the scrapbook page and tie it in with the photo by making sure there was purple on the hearts of PTI heart prints stamped images to match the purple in my flowers!
Have a wonderful Tuesday!

God Bless You,
