Moon Roof Open, Radio Up...

It felt so good driving home from work this evening with the moon roof open and the radio blaring. I didn't drive in high school, actually I didn't get my license until I was getting ready to start college...never was in a hurry for them... My car that I have now is my first brand new car, even though it isn't brand new anymore...it makes me feel so spoiled! {Don't jump to any assumptions though, when someone mentioned that we must be 'well to do' for me to have a new car, I just replied that me, Geej, & Toyota financial all three happily share it...i just get to be the driver:) } For a while, we were a single car family and I MISSED getting to drive...sometime's it's my de-stress and wind down time of leaving work at work :)
I fell in love with the CPS sketch this week and knew what I was going to do as soon as I saw it! That does NOT happen much with me! I love the white dot paper I have saw on so many blogs, so I made my own with my swiss dot cuttlebug folder!

Running Wide Open...

You know what happens when you run wide open? If you are anything like me, it makes you more forgetful. For example, this morning I left my badge in my car and had to trek back to get it and this evening I left some papers in work that I will have to go in early tomorrow to retrieve...
Another running wide open example is my next project, a scrapbook page of Abby's birthday. I am running wide open on these because I am struggling to get them completed. I know that I will probably never be "caught up", but I would like to get these finished before I start working on her next scrapbook. I am also going to challenge myself to make a page from before she was a year old or a page before she turned 2, every week to get those scrapbooks more up to date!

Fresh Green Grass...

I have not saw it sprouting up in my yard yet, but as the baby and I were going on our walk this evening, I saw some new grass sprouting up along the side of the track. The rest of the grass there is a precious green as well, a sure sign of Spring to me. I can't wait til it makes its way to our house and the rumble of the lawn mower is going outside :)

Today's card followed an old CPS sketch. I really liked the idea and had not had a chance to use this new set. I'm not really sure what I want to use the card for, but since it does not have a sentiment inside yet, I believe the possibilities are endless!

Sunshine and Swing Sets...

Today was such a pretty sunshiney day compared to yesterday. A sweet friend and I took a walk for lunch and it was very refreshing. It is amazing how good nice weather can make you feel. After work I took the little one to the park where I got in a two mile walk and she and I played on the swings and slide. My sweet mom was kind enough to go along and spend the evening with us. Lately I have been trying to lose weight and it has been quiet harder than I imagined it would be, enough talk about that already :)

On one of my last posts I mentioned cutting back drastically on scrapping supplies. I will admit I did this, but you know what I found out? I stopped creating all together. I missed the me time. Although it was more like me & Abby playing and I would run and work on something while she takes a nap, I missed it! Being busy with working 40 hours a week, full time housewife & mommy (best job ever - no complaints at all), and going to school full time, I needed something for me to unwind. I decided to start back buying if it means I will start back creating! I did and it does! (I even gave the blog a little face lift and found time to remove the Christmas deco!)

Here is my 2 Sketches Card! Can you believe that I am THIS early! I must be serious ;)
